Baglio del Cristo di Campobello – Lalùci 2021 – Sicilia DOC

The nose is fruity and reveals freshness and some concentration. There are notes of fleshy nectarine, fleshy apple and, more lightly, passion fruit, combined with subtle hints of yellow berries/apricot and discreet hints of sweet spices/beeswax. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a juicy/acidic structure, good definition, a certain gourmandize, tension and finesse. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of crushed nectarine, lychee and, more lightly, quince, combined with hints of white flowers, fresh almond and a subtle hint of sweet spices. Good length.
