Baccà – Bussia 2011 – Barolo

Baccà – Bussia 2011 – Barolo

The nose is fruity, gourmand, well-built and offers a good finesse of the grain as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of raspberry, Bigarreau cherry and small toasted notes associated with fine touches of flowers, Cuben pepper, plum as well as a very discreet hint of copse. The palate is fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a good definition, tension, suavity, a mineral frame as well as a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh cherry, fresh wild raspberry and small notes of plum associated with a touch of crunchy/fresh Boysen berry, fine toasted hints, chocolate, vanilla as well as a very discreet hint of Cuben pepper (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of copse/laurel. Tannins are well-built. There are a hint of tonka bean and a hint vanilla on the persistence.
