Azienda Pigno 2019 – Bardolino Classico

The nose is a bit restrained and offers a small intensity as well as concentration. It reveals notes of wild blackberry and wild small black fruits associated with a touch of cherry, red berries, violet, a hint of local grove as well as fine hints of gray pepper, green cardamom and a very discreet hint of mocha (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, a fine freshness, dynamism, a good definition, a beautiful acidulous frame as well as control. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy cherry, juicy / acidulous red berries and small notes of violet associated with fine touches of juicy cassis, juicy / acidulous plum as well as fine hints of local grove, very discreet hints of toasted almond and an imperceptible hint of black olive (in the background).
