Azienda Agricola Todaro – Perricone Feotto 2016 – IGP Sicilia

The nose offers a fine gourmandize, a fine richness as well as a fine power. It reveals notes of fleshy black cherry, fleshy blackberry and small notes of dark chocolate associated with fine touches of violet, blueberry as well as discreet hints of caramelization and toasted hazelnut. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, freshness, a good definition as well as a mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, juicy black cherry and small notes of juicy/ripe blueberry associated with touches of violet, thyme flowers as well as a subtle hint of sense of the place and a subtle hint of underwood. Tannins are structuring. Good length. Good persistence on an imperceptible almost saline hint, dark chocolate, toasted hazelnut as well as Bourbon vanilla.
