The nose is fresh, fruity and well defined. There are notes of pulpy cherry, violet and more slightly blackberry combined with fine touches of ripe redcurrant, lily, lilac and a discreet touch of pepper. The palate is nicely fresh, chiselled and offers juiciness, a certain delicacy, energy as well as a nice acidic frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of crunchy cherry, pulpy blackcurrant and, more slightly, pulpy purple plum, combined with hints of lily, lilac and fine points of cardamom, toasted hazelnut and a subtle hint of chocolate in the background. The tannins are finely mellow. Good length.
