Aurore de Dauzac 2021 – Margaux

Aurore de Dauzac 2021 – Margaux

The nose is racy, aromatic (nice aromatic palette), elegant and shows some concentration. There are notes of concentrated blackcurrant, pulpy/juicy strawberry and, more slightly, blueberry, liquorice combined with fine hints of mulberry and a discreet hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fresh, juicy, full-bodied and reveals a nice volume, brightness, greed, racy minerality and a fine airiness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/flavoured cherry, raspberry and more slightly tart blackcurrant combined with hints of fresh violet, iris and a subtle hint of bright red plum. A subtle hint of bergamot and a discreet touch of almond on the finish. An imperceptible hint of coffee in the background. Good length. Nice roundness and purity. Unctuousness with freshness and minerality. Nice salinity and good bitterness on the finish/persistence.
