Argilius 2016 – Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is fruity and offers a slight freshness, a slight fleshy as well as a slight gourmandise. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, cassis and slight notes of crushed strawberry associated with a discreet hint of toasted oak. The palate is fruity, fleshy, well-balanced and offers a slight juiciness as well as a racy minerality (terroir). In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy red berries and slight hints of cassis associated with a discreet hint of blackberry, plum as well as slight toasted hints, caramelization/hazelnut and a very discreet hint of sweet spices. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length. A beautiful wine!
