Argentiera Ventaglio Toscana 2018

Argentiera Ventaglio Toscana 2018

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity with very light garnet reflections. The nose is pronounced and complex – there are notes of ripe red berries (red cherry, strawberry), black fruits (blackberry, morello cherry, blueberry), sweet spices (cinnamon, nutmeg), mint, bitter chocolate and a touch of smoked meat and leather. The palate is silky, round and fresh, with fine-grained tannins, a bit drying on the finish. The flavors are very fruity and ripe – there are notes of black cherry, bigarreau cherry, red currant, plum with a hint of black pepper and dried mint. The finish is quite long, with notes of bitter cocoa, black pepper and black cherry. A refined wine, with a firm structure, beautiful freshness and good balance overall.
