Antonin Rodet – Domaine de la Bressance – Saint-Jacques 2016 – Rully

The nose is fruity and offers a fine delicacy and a fine intensity. It reveals notes of quince, apple and subtle hints of lime combined with touches of mirabelle plum, almond as well as a discreet hint of flowers and an imperceptible toasted hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, chiselled and offers a beautiful juiciness, an acid frame, suavity, tension, elegance, precision as well as a (very) slight unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, ripe green apple and small notes of quince, peach combined with small touches of kumquat, va (very) discreet hint of ripe pineapple, almond as well as very discreet toasted hints / vanilla and almond. Good length and good persistence. There is an imperceptible touch of coffee on the persistence / aftertaste.
