The nose is fruity. It reveals notes of ripe red fruit (cherry, raspberry) and slight notes of blackberry associated with fine notes of cassis leaf, undergrowth, lichen as well as a hint of truffle, balsamic and flint. The palate is fruity, mineral, racy, tight and offers a fresh frame, fat as well as an unctuous matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of raspberry, fresh cherry associated with slight notes of cassis, berries, blackberries, black fruit cream, mocha and sweet spices / discreet liquorice (vanilla, toasted). Tannins are fine, well-built and racy. Good length and persistence. The finish is relatively suave.
