The nose is fruity with some intensity in its fruit. One perceives notes of pulpy cherries, crunchy blueberries and more slightly roasted berries combined with a touch of blue berries, liquorice, cherry blossom as well as a subtle hint of grey pepper and even incense. The palate is fruity with a nice persistent freshness, minerality, a nice energy and a certain roundness or even fullness. There’s accuracy with notes of fresh pulpy cherries, cherry blossom and more slightly racy minerality combined with touches of fresh pulpy blackcurrant as well as a subtle hint of nutmeg, juicy fleshy blackberry, fresh clove and a hint of fresh pepper in the background. There is some intensity on the finish, good definition and supple, well-mannered tannins.
