Aneto 2011 – Douro

Aneto 2011 – Douro

The nose is fruity and powerful. It reveals notes of cassis and blackberry combined with touches of raspberry, spices and small notes of menthol. The palate is suave, fat, mineral, gourmand and offers a beautiful precision of fruit, fleshy fruits, tension as well as a nice tight and silky matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, black cherry and small notes of Quetsche plum associated with touches of cherry, a hint of raspberry as well as small notes of chocolate and slight woody notes on the finish. Tannins are fine and slightly firm. Good length and nice persistence.
