Andreza – Reserva 2014 – Douro

Andreza – Reserva 2014 – Douro

The nose is fruity, elegant and gourmand. It reveals notes of cassis jam, crushed blackberry and hints of Quetsche plum associated with hints of olive tree, zan as well as a discreet hint of tobacco, cardamom and slight touches of oak. The palate is fruity, slight, mineral, elegant, juicy, aerial and offers a beautiful acid frame, a beautiful expression/definition as well as tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, plum and cassis jam associated with slight hints of raspberry, red berries as well as slight notes of licorice, toasted oak and a hint of cardamom. Tannins are slight, elegant and slightly dusty. There are slight notes of chocolate on the finish. A beautiful wine! Good job!
