The nose is aromatic and offers intensity. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, boysenberry and wild berries associated with slight touches of spices, blueberry / flowers as well as a hint of nutmeg and slight hints of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave and offers juiciness, a slight fresh / juicy frame, a slight acidity (in the background), a good definition and minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of plum, black cherry and slight notes of raspberry associated with touches of fleshy / juicy red berries, subtle touches of flowers, juicy blueberry as well as discreet hints of caramelized oak and an imperceptible touch of Bourbon vanilla. Tannins are slight and slightly tight.
