Alto de Cantenac Brown 2022 – Bordeaux Blanc

The nose is elegant, fresh and offers a little buttery side. There are notes of luscious peach, juicy/pulpy kumquat and slight notes of sweet pink grapefruit associated with fine touches of juicy lemon, hints of lemon blossom, white elderberry blossoms as well as discreet hints of coconut fruit. passion and quenettes. The palate is fruity, all in harmony, in accuracy and offers freshness, minerality, an acidulous structure, juiciness, a fine/salty fat, radiance, a pretty greediness, a beautiful energy, righteousness as well as tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of luscious peach, a little crunchiness on the white peach and slight notes of sweet white grapefruit associated with hints of lemon as well as a subtle note of quenette and a discreet touch of toasted hazelnut. There is a lovely sapidity, smoothness and a lovely finesse in the tension. There is a superb minerality and freshness as well as a discreet fresh verbena side in the background.
