The nose is fruity, fresh, elegant, racy and offers a fine concentration/richness. It reveals notes of cassis, wild black berries and more slightly wild raspberry, fresh flowers associated with touches of mint liquorice as well as a discreet hint of blue berries and an imperceptible hint of varietal. The palate is fruity, juicy, elegant, well-balanced and offers a beautiful racy minerality, power, a beautiful definition, a beautiful finesse of the grain, precision, a beautiful tension, dynamism, concentration (but all in finesse), fat as well as a good freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fresh/juicy raspberry and more slightly cassis associated with small touches of fresh blue berries, fresh flowers as well as discreet hints of tonka bean, sweet spices, toasted, a very discreet hint of caramelization and an imperceptible hint of coffee (in the background). Tannins are fine and elegant. Very fine chews on the finish. Good length and beautiful persistence. Beautiful juicy fruits on the persistence (brings appetence and suavity).
