The nose is fine, powerful, elegant, very slightly tight and offers concentration. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, morello cherry and wild red fruits, ripe raspberry combined with hints of toasted oak as well as an imperceptible hint of dried blueberry, clove and Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well balanced, fine, elegant and offers a beautiful delicacy, tension, a beautiful juiciness, a good structure, a beautiful freshness, a velvety matter, a slight power as well as a beautiful gourmandise. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed / ripe blackberry, ripe raspberry and touches of fleshy strawberry, crushed cassis combined with slight hints of caramelized oak, a subtle hint of sweet spices / vanilla, a slight hint of liquorice as well as an imperceptible touch of morello cherry, salty minerality and hazelnut on the finish. Tannins are fine and velvety. Good length.
