Alpha Omega – Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, Beckstoffer Stagecoach – Atlas Peak, Napa Valley

The nose is aromatic and offers intensity, elegance as well as a small concentration and fleshiness / crispiness. It reveals notes of cassis, boysenberry and small notes of violet combined with touches of fleshy redcurrants, tea, Sichuan pepper, crunchy wild strawberries as well as discreet hints of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, elegant, gourmand, a bit tight and offers fleshiness, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as a certain delicacy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy strawberry, wild raspberry and small notes of ripe / juicy cassis associated with small touches of ripe redcurrants, liquorice, spices, tea as well as discreet toasted hints / sweet spices. Tannins are elegant, fine and well-built. Good length. There are hints of cocoa on the persistence.
