Alpha Omega – Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 – Napa Valley

The nose is fruity, concentrated and offers richness. It reveals notes of blackberry cream and cassis combined with slight touches of crushed strawberry, gray pepper as well as touches of spices, subtle hints of caramelized oak as well as a subtle hint of Zan and Lapsang Souchong tea. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight mineral frame, juiciness, gourmandise, volume, a slight creminess, power as well as a slight tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry cream, crushed cassis combined with slight notes of fleshy strawberry, fleshy cherry as well as a subtle hint of crushed redcurrant, wood, caramelized oak and chocolate. Tannins are well-built. A beautiful wine!
