The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers a fine richness as well as a small flowery side. It reveals notes of ripe wild blackberry, crunchy strawberry and small notes of flowers (violet, a hint of cornflower) associated with fine hints of tonka bean, small ripe berries as well as very fine hints of racy minerality and a subtle hint of cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, an acidulous frame, a fine tension, fat as well as a fine and finely tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notesof fleshy blackberry, fleshy/juicy cassis and small notes of juicy ripe raspberry associated with fine touches of toasted, tonka bean, juicy/crunchy cherry, cardamom as well as discreet hints of spices.
