Alias Croizet-Bages 2016 – Pauillac

Alias Croizet-Bages 2016 – Pauillac

The nose is powerful and offers elegance, a ripe fruit and a small concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of wild strawberry associated with small touches of crushed black berries, licorice as well as discreet hints of Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a fine juiciness as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, blackberry, wild red berries and small notes of wild strawberry associated with fine touches of liquorice, violet as well as a discreet hint of hazelnut and vanilla bean. Tannins are structuring. Gourmandise and power but full of finesse.
