The nose is fruity and shows gourmandize and fine creaminess. There are notes of creamy redcurrant, pulpy raspberry and slightly blackcurrant combined with hints of creamy/acidic plum combined with hints of sense of place, olive tree and a discreet almost orange peel. The palate is mineral with freshness, minerality, fine racy tension and a fine tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, fresh/acidic red berries and more lightly fresh berries combined with hints of violet, olive tree/olive leaf as well as hints of local garrigue, a subtle hint of sage, mocha/cocoa and fine hints of toast in the background.
