Albert Morot – Aigrots 2019 – Beaune Premier Cru

The nose is fresh, fruity, racy and offers a certain/small intensity. It reveals notes of raspberry, redcurrant and small notes of violet associated with small touches of ripe wild cassis as well as a hint of lilac, a subtle hint of incense, spices and a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity and offers suavity, delicacy, gourmandize, a certain roundness, an aerial side, a beautiful definition as well as purity of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright/juicy plum, juicy blueberry and small notes of bright redcurrant associated with touches of bright cherry as well as slight hints of lilac, violet, delicate hints of vanilla, racy minerality/sense of the place and a subtle hint of fresh blond tobacco. Good length.
