The nose offers concentration and power. It reveals notes of cassis, violet, small notes of balsamic associated with touches of wild strawberry, small wild red berries as well as fine hints of lilac, sense of the place, a discreet hint of racy minerality, laurel and a very discreet hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a beautiful precision, an acidulous frame as well as roundness, finesse of the grain and a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, redcurrant, small notes of pistil/lily associated with touches of wild strawberry, cherry as well as fine hints of rose, laurel, a very discreet hint of balsamic and an imperceptible hint of tobacco (in the background). Tannins are well-built, precise and firm.
