Albert Morot 2019 – Beaune Teurons Premier Cru

Albert Morot 2019 – Beaune Teurons Premier Cru

The nose is fruity and offers a certain brightness, racy / controlled power, a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of bright raspberry, purple plum and slight notes of fleshy blackberry associated with touches of toasted bread, sweet spices, fleshy small red fruits and a discreet hint of bourbon vanilla (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a beautiful acidulous frame, a fine grain, suavity, a small roundness as well as finesse in its roundness/fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/tangy red cherry, redcurrant and slight notes of violet associated with touches of juicy plum plum, toasted/grilled almond as well as a hint of cardamom, a subtle hint of vanilla. Good length.
