The nose is elegant, racy and offers complexity, a certain power, a good finesse of the grain and a fine richness. It reveals notes of pulpy cassis, questch plum, small notes of raspberry/strawberry as well as hints of cassis leaf, lily, cuben pepper, a subtle hint of white flowers/cherry blossom, liquorice, an imperceptible hint of camphor and nutmeg. The palate is elegant, beautifully built and offers gourmandize, finesse as well as power, suppleness, straightness (full of finesse) as well as power, suppleness, straightness (full of finesse) and an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, small blue fruits, small notes of bright blue plum associated with touches of raspberry as well as small hints of liquorice, chocolate, nutmeg and a very discreet hint of dry almond. Tannins are elegant and supple.
