The nose is finely tight and offers a fine power. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of blackberry, small ripe wild black fruits, small notes of cocoa associated with small touches of tobacco, camphor, nutmeg as well as a hint of small acidulous blue fruits, a discreet hint of smoke and an imperceptible hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, juiciness, a small acidulous frame, a fine tension as well as a fine sapidity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy Boysen berry, acidulous/juicy plum, small notes of small black fruits associated with a touch of racy minerality, an acidulous raspberry as well as fine hints of cherry seed, tobacco, black tea, a discreet hint of caramelization and local copse. A fine hint of cocoa and caramelized almond on the persistence.
