The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is refined, delicately floral and fruity. It expresses tangy notes of cranberries, raspberry, bigarreau cherry, red currant and elderberry, combined with notes of cherry blossom, rosehip, violet and rose. There are also hints of fine, integrated spices: white pepper, ground cumin, nutmeg, cloves and licorice, complemented by notes of fresh tobacco and bay leaf. On the palate, the wine offers suppleness and roundness, as well as melted and fine tannins. The flavors are fruity and juicy, very gourmand. We find notes of ripe wild strawberry, red cherry, red currant, crushed raspberry, associated with floral touches of rose, cherry blossom and rosehip, as well as very delicate spicy hints (clou cloves, nutmeg, licorice). The finish is persistent, adding notes of bay leaf and a very slight hint of toast to the bouquet. Beautiful acidity, lots of finesse and gourmandize.
