Ad Vitam Aeternam 2019 – Bordeaux

The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers concentration as well as a hint of perfume. There are notes of concentrated blackcurrant, crushed strawberry and, more slightly, concentrated blackberry, combined with hints of crushed violet plum, graphite, racy minerality, as well as fine hints of a sense of place and a very discreet saline touch. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, good definition, a certain gourmandise, tension, accuracy, finesse, dynamism and a nice acidity of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blueberry, concentrated blackcurrant and more slightly violet, lily combined with hints of crushed blue plum, hints of strawberry, vanilla, fine hints of chocolate as well as a discreet hint of camphor, toasted almond and a very discreet hint of roast. Sapidity and energy on the finish. The finish becomes tighter, but without lacking dynamism and deliciousness.
