The nose is fruity, gourmand, powerful and relatively incisive. It reveals notes of Zante currant, candied peach and touches of datte associated with touches of caramel, orange jam/candied citrus as well as a subtle hint of flowers, toasted oak, rancio and a hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, powerful, supple and offers a beautiful definition. In the mouth this Cognac expresses slight notes of candied white fruits, orange jam and candied lemon zests associated with small notes of pâtisseries, candied mandarin zests, rancio as well as subtle hints of dried apricot puree, spices and a very discreet hint of gray pepper (in the background). Good length and beautiful persistence.
