Milano Wine Week was held from October 8 to 16, 2022, with new formats aimed at industry professionals and a growing audience of wine lovers from all over the world. The fair has returned with a schedule full of initiatives and innovations.
Taking part were consortia, organizations and wine companies from all over Italy. The 2022 edition was characterized by a format with a strongly immersive approach, aimed at bringing consumers closer to wine through engaging experiences and activities: from tastings to workshops, from special events to concerts and challenges. The new hub of the event was Palazzo Serbelloni with its impressive courtyard being transformed into the Wine Court of Milano Wine Week. The 2022 program offered HORECA professionals, buyers and the press a schedule full of business opportunities, involving Italian and international industry players who had the opportunity to reach key markets for wine export in the world. During the press conference, Undersecretary for Agricultural Food and Forestry Policies Gian Marco Centinaio declared, “The main feature of the event remains its close connection with the whole city and the surrounding area, and in this sense it also fully expresses the potential of wine tourism.”
Comments on the wines tasted and interviews with winemakers met during the event will be published in the next edition of VertdeVin magazine.
