With the sunny season approaching the Château Léognan which is one of the most dynamic property in the Pessac-Léognan appellation presents its new wine tourism offer.
In the magical and relaxing spirit of the Château Léognan, tourists and winelovers will discover the pleasure of wine in different ways. In fact this year Château Léognan propose to you four tourist offer : the unusual (carriage & wine), the Epicurean (cheese & wine), the playful (games & wine) and the expert (introduction to wine tasting & wine).
- Classique/Classical: (April to September)
Discover the winery and its history through the visit of the chapel dating from the nineteenth century. The visit will be concluded with a wine tasting of the Château Léognan red wine (AOC Pessac-Léognan).
L’insolite/The unusual: (April to September)
Discover the winery (vineyard and Centennial Park) in a carriage. The visi will be concluded with a wine tasting of Château Léognan wines.
- L’épicurienne/The Epicurean: (June to September)
Visit and explore the winery, its history through a visit of the chapel of the nineteenth century. During this visit a wine tasting of two Château Léognan wines pairing with cheeses will be offered.
La ludique/The Playful: (April to September)
A visit of the property associated with entertaining workshops on how to taste and speack about a wine tasting (visual, olfactory, gustatory). The visit will be concluded by a wine tasting.
- L’experte/The expert : (April to September)
Visit and explore the Château and the chapel associated with a tasting and an introduction to the technique and the vocabulary of the wine tasting.
In addition, for those who wish to stay in the romantic place, the Château will be happy to propose to you a bed and breakfast service (guest house). For the romantics, what better than a weekend with a carriage ride, a beautiful château, a night in bed covered with rose petals and wine! Cute!
