Saint-Vincent Tournante Volnay 2027: The Elegance of a Living Heritage
On January 30 and 31, 2027, the village of Volnay will host the 83rd edition of the Saint-Vincent Tournante. Blending centuries-old tradition with a vision for the future, this edition promises an intimate immersion into the heart of one of Burgundy’s most prestigious appellations.
A Historic and Community-Minded Gathering
For the third time in its history, following 1957 and 1986, Volnay becomes the setting for the great fellowship of Burgundy’s winemakers. More than just a wine festival, the event celebrates the values of the Société d’Entraide, active since 1840, which symbolizes solidarity among winemakers in the face of life’s uncertainties.

Thiébaut Huber, president of this edition, emphasizes that the decision was unanimous: “Volnay 2027, A Rare Elegance, a Living Heritage… this is our banner and also our DNA.”
A “Haute Couture” experience on a human scale
Far from excess, Volnay is banking on an intimate and refined celebration, reflecting its terroir, which accounts for just 0.9% of Burgundy’s total area (215 hectares).

• The Glass: To highlight the finesse of Pinot Noir, the organizers have partnered with Riedel crystalware. The selected glass, from the Grape@Riedel collection, is designed to release the aromatic delicacy unique to Volnay’s wines.
• The Poster: Designed by Camille Garnier, it features the Celtic goddess “Volen,” guardian of the village’s springs, alongside Saint Cyr, patron saint of Volnay’s winemakers. A work that captures the spirit of Volnay, where tradition and boldness meet.
The Winemakers: Architects and Generous Donors
The event relies on the commitment of 47 producers from the appellation. These winemakers have pooled their expertise to create a “collective vintage”: a special cuvée made from their donated grapes, offered for visitors to taste.
Among the faces of this edition, we find the intergenerational legacy that is the soul of the village:
• Domaine Henri Delagrange, where Alexis and Arthur represent the seventh generation.
• Domaine Jean Vaudoisey, taken over in 2015 by Romain and Baptiste, heirs to a lineage dating back to 1804.
• Iconic estates such as Michel Lafarge, La Pousse d’Or, and Marquis d’Angerville, all guardians of this living heritage.
On the agenda: Tradition, sharing, and exceptional tastings
The weekend will be punctuated by traditional highlights: the grand procession of banners, the induction ceremonies by the wine brotherhoods, and the solidarity banquets. But throughout the weekend, visitors will be able to enjoy a unique immersion: the winemakers become organizers and hosts, opening their courtyards and cellars to transform the village into a vast journey of discovery.
Wine enthusiasts will thus have the opportunity to explore the appellation’s identity through seven representative cuvées, including Volnay and Volnay Premiers Crus. Rumor even has it that a Premier Cru over 20 years old will be presented, showcasing the exceptional aging potential of the village’s wines.
