Domaine Adonis, Arbosana, Extra Virgin olive oil Ultra-Premium, First Cold Extraction – Béja (Tunisia)

(100% Arbosana, 2025/2026 harvest) The oil has a bright, light golden color. The nose is delicately fragrant and elegant, rich, fruity, and even floral. Subtle notes of peach, slightly sweet cherry tomato, kumato tomato, vine blossom, acacia, marinated black olive, and fresh bread are present in the background. Subtle notes of Mediterranean herbs (sage, dried rosemary) are also present. The palate has a dense yet silky texture, a pronounced bitterness (grilled vegetables, toasted almond, artichoke), and a peppery touch at the beginning, which persists throughout the tasting and develops into toasty notes. In the mid-palate, notes of herb-roasted tomatoes, marinated olive, artichoke, and dried Mediterranean herbs reappear. The finish is long and luscious, without bitterness: notes of peach, toasted hazelnut, and flowers linger at the very end. A good balance between power, bitterness, and a certain roundness.
