Lauren Laudrin has been appointed as the Managing Director of Château Beauregard and Château Petit-Village in Pomerol.
Château Beauregard and Château Petit-Village, owned by the Moulin family, have announced the appointment of Lauren Laudrin as Managing Director. She succeeds Vincent Priou, who has held this position for 35 years, and will oversee the growth and development of the estates on behalf of the family, represented by Augustin Belloy, President of the Domaines.
To ensure a smooth transition in the best interest of the estates, Vincent Priou will continue to support Château Beauregard and Château Petit-Village as a consultant over the coming months.
Lauren Laudrin: A Journey from Oenology to Leadership
A trained oenologist and engineer, Lauren Laudrin first joined Château Beauregard in 2015 as part of her oenology studies. Passionate about her craft, she has actively contributed to the estates’ technical advancements. Her early career was dedicated to the production of fine wines in Bordeaux and Provence before she transitioned to wine trading, joining the brokerage firm Laurent Quancard. For seven years, as a wine broker, she leveraged her expertise to manage inventories on the Bordeaux market and advise on commercial strategies for the prestigious Grands Crus of Médoc and the Right Bank. Her deep connection to Pomerol led her to build strong relationships with the region’s most renowned estates, ultimately guiding her return to Beauregard and Petit-Village.
On this occasion, Augustin Belloy stated: “We are delighted to begin a new chapter in the history of our estates with the appointment of Lauren Laudrin as Managing Director. She possesses the human qualities and expertise needed to further enhance the reputation of these two great Pomerol wines, while respecting their heritage and our values. I would like to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Vincent Priou, who has played a crucial role over the past 35 vintages in elevating the recognition of our estates and the quality of our wines. I am also pleased that he will remain with us in the coming months to ensure a smooth transition with Lauren.”
