Sandro Ciavattella is the new General Manager

Sandro Ciavattella is the new General Manager of Cantina Tollo. The appointment was announced during the usual shareholders’ meeting of the Chieti-based group, which takes place before the harvest and was held on Sunday, July 28, at the company headquarters in Tollo (Chieti). A 43-year-old from Pescara, Ciavattella is not a new face for Cantina Tollo: he previously served as Chief Financial Officer within the Abruzzo cooperative for seven years, from 2017 to 2023.

“I am honored by the trust placed in me by the President and the Board of Directors,” says Ciavattella, “and I am excited to begin this new professional journey right here at Cantina Tollo. The goal is to develop a shared vision and add even more value to teamwork by involving members and employees in the company’s activities, with the aim of improving the company’s current performance and reaching new, ambitious goals and markets together.”

During the shareholders’ meeting, the new storage warehouse of Cantina Tollo was also inaugurated. The facility features a temperature-controlled refrigeration system that allows for better management of bottled products and a significant reduction in energy costs thanks to the photovoltaic system.
