This Riesling Icewine is perfumed and citrus-forward with some hints of melon, ripe pears, apricot jam and peach. It’s quite delicate, balanced and simple with honeyed sweetness and a tart acidity. It has a great spine, and a mineral, clean finish.
Made from estate-grown grapes harvested from Henry of Pelham’s own Short Hills Bench vineyards from a blend of Vidal and Cabernet Franc, this is an interesting mix of vibrancy and fruitiness. Cherry and raspberry aromas are combined to spices and bright tangerine juice. It has a good intensity of flavors and heavy palate.
