20TH EDITION OF « Balades en Cadillac »!

On August, 23 and 24, 2014 come to visit the vineyard of the AOC Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux

The summer event, the « Balades en Cadillac » is back on August 23 & 24 to celebrate its 20th edition. The program consists on: 2 days of festivities with music, dance and street arts to discover or rediscover the rich heritage and the vineyards of Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux. An event as original and unavoidable to allow the general public to better understand the region and its local products.

Activities

This year, a varied program of activities is offered to visitors. Throughout the weekend, concerts, shows and other events will succeed in the heart of the walled town of Cadillac, the banks of the Garonne or wine châteaux. Rides aboard Cadillac is also planned to cross the landscapes of the label while fireworks display will close the festival on Sunday. And for those who want more, two additional events are planned: July 25 with ” Les pièces jointes ” (humorous vocal quartet) and August 08 with the magic show “Gérard Naque the Presqu’idigitateur.”

Activities for all tastes and audiences that promise a weekend under the sign of discovery and usability.

The chateaux, partners of the event

For this new edition, 3 wine estates of the appellation Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux will open Aug. 24 for tours, tastings but also for shows!

From the Château Peller-Laroque´s part, the theater in object will be honored (at 3pm) with “The succulent history of Thomas Farcy.” Château Chasse Pierre will welcome the freestyle concerto “Duende Feliz” to 5pm while the site of the Villa Gallo-Romaine offers “Airs de jeu” a musical dance over on Sunday at 7pm.

Finally, the Maison des Vins with its Vine and Wine Museum will also participate in the event through its interactive exhibition in the wine world and its new course in the vineyards to understand in a fun and educational way the work of the winemakers.
