The 24th edition of Cocco…Wine is set to take place on Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7, 2025, in the picturesque village of Cocconato, nestled in the heart of the Monferrato Astigiano region. Organized by the Go Wine association in collaboration with the Municipality of Cocconato and the Consorzio Cocconato Riviera del Monferrato, this event promises a delightful exploration of local wines, culinary delights, and the charming landscapes of the area.

Event Highlights

  • Saturday, September 6: The festivities commence at 4:00 PM, transforming the historic center of Cocconato into a vibrant wine route. Visitors can enjoy tastings from local wineries and savor traditional products such as Cocconato’s renowned robiola cheese.

  • Sunday, September 7: The event starts at 11:00 AM, offering an extended opportunity to immerse oneself in the flavors and culture of the region.

  • Friday, September 5: The weekend kicks off with the Salotto di Cocco…Wine, an exclusive preview event held at the historic Cannon d’Oro restaurant. From 8:00 PM, attendees can enjoy a curated selection of wines paired with dishes crafted by local chefs, highlighting the culinary heritage of Cocconato.

  • Guided Tasting: At 6:30 PM on Friday, a special tasting session will delve into the 2023 vintage of Barbera d’Asti Superiore from Cocconato, providing insights into the nuances of this esteemed local wine.
