The whisky has a beautiful, clear, and bright golden color. The nose is powerful and aromatic, with fresh notes of honey, candied lemon, and tropical fruits. Sweet spices and hints of vanilla are present. There are also notes of baked apple, almost caramelized, with fresh vanilla. The palate is fresh, almost minty, intense, and spicy, with hints of candied orange and candied lemon zest. Vanilla comes through at the end of the tasting. The whisky is round, powerful, and comforting. Well-balanced, it offers freshness and peppery vitality while possessing a velvety smoothness. A whisky to serve neat, on the rocks, or even in a highball with a twist of grapefruit.
