The nose is fruity, fresh and offers spicy/peppery. It reveals hints of fresh violets, touches of fleshy/juicy cassis, crushed redcurrants and small notes of small juicy/fresh black fruits, as well as hints of cornflower, a subtle hint of licorice stick and chocolate. The palate is fruity, juicy, pulpy, fresh, it offers lovely freshness, acidity, a chiseled side and a tangy frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, juicy/fresh cherry and small notes of violet, combined with touches of fresh blueberry, as well as hints of racy limestone, spices and a hint of almost sense of the place and gourmandise. Good length. The tannins are precise and finely mellow. Lovely freshness, subtle crunchy and sappiness on the finish/persistence and racy grain. A very discreetly tight mid-palate. A wine that needs time.
