The nose offers freshness, a little racy minerality, pulpy fruit and good definition. There are notes of pulpy blackberry, violet and small notes of fleshy cassis, associated with touches of crushed raspberry, a hint of small fairly ripe/crushed red fruits, as well as fine hints of licorice stick and a very discreet hint of sappy. The palate offers fruit, minerality, a fresh frame, energy, mellowness, fine creaminess, as well as a nice little freshness (which coats). On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of small bright/brilliant red fruits, combined with a fine touch of bergamot, sage, sweet spices and a fine hint of chocolate. The tannins are mellow, gourmand and sapid. Good length. Fine salinity and floral hint in the background. Good work on the good bitters.
