Château Tour Saint Christophe 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, spicy and offers a certain racy power, elegance, some stretchiness as well as a certain straightness. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, star anise and small notes of pepper associated with touches of cornflower, crushed strawberry as well as a hint of infusion. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, tension, accuracy. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy bigarreau cherry, bright/juicy purple plum and small notes of crushed raspberry associated with touches of lily, tonka bean, toast and a discreet hint of chocolate. Tannins are mellow and sapid. A beautifully gourmand wine, with smoothness in juiciness and delicacy, a powdery hint, a good bitterness and a subtle hint of incense in the background and infusion, an imperceptible hint of dark chocolate and black olive.
