Château de la Rivière 2023 – Fronsac

The nose offers complexity, gourmandise and density in elegance. It expresses notes of morello cherry, black plum, bigarreau cherry, wild strawberry, blackberry, liquorice and peppermint, as well as a touch of vanilla in the background, a distinguished minerality (limestone), as well as a slight touch of blackcurrant leaf. The palate also offers elegance, juiciness, airiness and a distinguished limestone minerality, notes of bigarreau cherry, black plum, morello cherry, wild strawberry and liquorice, as well as a hint of violet and blackcurrant leaf. The tannins are well structured and fine, but present. Beautiful aerial structure, good acidity and freshness.
