Frédéric Mabileau Vigneron « Les Rouillères » 2022 – Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil

Frédéric Mabileau Vigneron « Les Rouillères » 2022 – Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers finesse, freshness and aromas of tangy fruits: red cherry, raspberry, cranberry and blackcurrant, combined with fine touches of violet, cut grass and white pepper in the background. The palate is fresh, tangy and juicy, with a delicate bitterness on the finish. It expresses notes of fresh blackcurrant, morello cherry, raspberry, cranberry, as well as a sweet touch of wild blackberry and notes of violet, blackcurrant leaf and crushed mint in the background. The tannins have a fine texture and good hold. The finish is quite persistent, tangy, slightly tannic, with good bitterness. Nice acidity. A straight and frank wine.
