Domaine du Mortier, Les Graviers 2021 – Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity, with purple reflections. The nose offers a pure fruity expression, with floral and herbaceous touches. We find notes of red cherry, strawberry, crushed raspberry, dried red cherry, wild plum, as well as wild mint, violet, lily and a hint of rosemary. On the palate, the wine offers freshness, fluidity (in a good way) and juiciness. It expresses notes of tart red cherry, strawberry, raspberry, a touch of blueberry on the finish, as well as notes of violet, lily, wild mint and a very discreet spicy hint of nutmeg. The tannins are fine and discreet. Beautiful acidity, which combines with a delicate bitterness on the finish. A fresh, juicy and delicious wine, with a certain substance on the palate.
