Petite Fleur de Roques – 2020 – Puisseguin-Saint-Emilion

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is fruity, juicy, tangy and offers tension and energy. It expresses notes of fresh red and black fruits (tangy red cherry, raspberry, strawberry, red currant, cranberries, blueberry), as well as herbaceous notes of blackcurrant leaf, a subtle touch of cut grass and mint. There are also subtle notes of violet and white pepper in the background. On the palate, the wine is chiseled, tense and offers a tangy and fresh profile. It expresses notes of red fruits (raspberry, strawberry, tart red cherry, cranberries), a touch of blueberry, as well as herbaceous notes (cut grass, blackcurrant leaf) and a slight spiciness in the background (white pepper, liquorice) with bitterness in the finish. The acidity is lively, salivating, the tannins are integrated and delicate. A wine full of freshness, lightness and fruit.
