It reveals notes of creamy blackberry, pulpy strawberry and slight notes of crushed blackcurrant associated with touches of racy minerality, graphite as well as hints of cornflower, lilac as well as slight hints of blueberry and vanilla/sweet blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, good definition, a certain gourmandise, a tangy structure, a fine creaminess, tension, roundness as well as richness in balance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, juicy/ripe raspberry and slight notes of crushed cherry associated with touches of violet, blueberry, chocolate as well as slight hints of toasted almond, nutmeg, graphite and a subtle hint of liquorice stick. Good length. The tannins are elegant, racy and polished. A subtle hint of good bitterness on the finish/persistence.
