The wine has a ruby colour of medium intensity. The nose offers depth, complexity, concentration and freshness at the same time. It expresses sweet and sour notes of red and black fruits (red cherry, morello cherry, blue plum, blackberry, blackcurrant, blueberry, wild strawberry, elderberry), complemented by herbaceous and spicy notes of fresh peppermint, menthol, fresh thyme, liquorice stick, fresh blueberry, violet, as well as subtle woody notes (smoky, toasted, toasted almond). On the palate, the wine offers a lot of fruit, a concentrated body and a firm, dry tannic structure of a young wine. It expresses flavours of Morello cherry, wild strawberry, red currant, blueberry, fresh blackcurrant, red cherry, as well as hints of mint, peppermint, liquorice, cumin (in the background) and a refined and elegant floral side (fresh and dried blueberry, fresh rose, fresh violet in the background). Beautiful persistence on the palate, with savoury and spicy notes, integrated in a rich and ripe fruity bouquet (crushed strawberry, morello cherry, blue plum). The finish is a little dry and tannic due to the youth of the wine. The acidity is lively and salivating and balances the astringent side of the finish. A wine to keep.
