The palate is nicely fresh, mineral and balanced. It offers juiciness, smoothness, a certain freshness, aromatic purity and gourmandise. It expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, pulpy/fresh blackcurrant and more slightly – cornflower associated with touches of pulpy/juicy cherry, as well as hints of star anise and a hint of blueberry in the background. The tannins are well developed and offer a nice roundness.
